She moved into Battle Creek in in 1867 and lived at 38 College Street until her death in 1883.
There are no surviving pictures of the house, which was described as a "plain story and a
half building set back a considerable distance from the street and entered by a side door,
painted a drab color with lighter trimmings." This drawing appeared in a local newspaper in 1908,
taken from a Chicago newspaper version from the 1890s.
